           A Brief Introduction...

    Dragoun (12-14th century Celtic spelling) is the name and inspiration taken on in the late 1960's for my own inspiration and later my studio. Not wanting to be bound by genre there was no specialty other than creating something from nothing, fantasy to reality. Never was or is there, a project or concept that cannot be achieved by one inspired, so sayeth Dragoun.

    The years of "old school" artwork and dimensional creations were challenged in the 90's by the age of computers and the Internet. I was fascinated by the "virtual" possibilities of the new age and how it opened doors to even more creativity and dove in head first. Though I still engage in the "hands on" old school art I now dwell mostly in the virtual world with an "old world" flare. I still do the large scale painted graphics and sculpts on occasion but spend more time with Web Graphics/Sites, Cartooning/Animation and Project Consulting now.

   MAJOR UPDATES

TO THE STUDIO EQUIPMENT

    In the Fall of 2018 we did an upgrade to our computer equipment and tools. New mainframe, new monitors, and the best was a 26" XP-Pen Graphics Monitor. Now I work directly on the screen. This is a milestone for an "old school" salt such as myself. As always we are working still with the latest versions of the Adobe suite and maintain the training along with the latest in trends.

     Camera and video equipment had been upgraded also in anticipation of outdoor and offshore being planed for the 2019 season. Now here at the end of 2020 all the computers and software have been upgraded...It's going to be a good year in 2021!
